In his 64 years of life, he has inspired a lot of people in several ways and the result of his impacts last a lifetime. Dr. John Devavaram spent most of his lifetime in the field of Development work and had a never ending desire of uplifting the underprivileged women and children.

Dr. John Devavaram spent most of his lifetime in the field of Development work and had a never ending desire of uplifting the underprivileged women and children.
Dr. John Devavaram believed in idea of “Life before death” as much as his belief in “Life after death” which drove him through his lifetime to find ways to bring about a difference to the lives of marginalized people. Through his organizations he made an impact and touched many lives meaningfully over 3 decades.
In 1987, May 27th SPEECH was founded with a spark to contribute to the total upliftment of the villages and not just focusing on a single issue. SPEECH (Soceity for peoples education and economic change)started with ideas on Social and economic change coupled with farsighted and sustainable transformation of society. The key areas however was around Child Rights, children empowerment, women empowerment, education and social awareness.
